Greater Works Ministries celebrated its 56th anniversary with three days of meetings and prayer.
On Friday, October 6, the Church held evening services and presented guest speaker, Pastor Mark Moore, from Atlanta, Georgia.
On Saturday, October 7, members held a Prayer breakfast at the Mendenhall Inn. Bishop Rayford Mulden, Minister Kevon Tynes and Cassandra Hamilton speak.
On Sunday, October 8, the Church held two services with presiding guest, Pastor Moore, and ministry members who offered special presentations.

Addressing the groups were Pastor Avery, First Lady Cheryl Avery, the Bishop Rayford Mulden, Minister Kevon Tynes, Cassandra Hamilton and Sister Alicia Hicks. One member from each table came to the podium to testify how prayer had addressed the problems in their lives.

Services on Saturday, October 8, 2006, included offerings by ministry members and guests. Presentations included praise and worship by the Praise Team, worship leadership by Dr. Alice Butcher, a welcome from Deacon Harry Norton, a dance presentation by Sister Wendi Box, reflections of Christ Temple Church by Sister Margaret Hicks, the music of the Greater Works Ministry Band and the GWM Choir, offerings managed by the Deacons, more reflections of Christ Temple Church by Sister Joanne McKim, a word of God by Pastor Mark Moore, and remarks by Pastor C. Mark Avery.

Pastor Moore visits Greater Works Ministries to deliver a powerful message to welcoming parishioners. Pastor Moore spoke before both gathering at the Church on Saturday, October, 8, as he did on the previous Friday, October 6.
