“Building Kingdom Principles”
Lesson #4 – The Concept of Kings
The King is the central component of a Kingdom.
A King is the ultimate source of authority in his Kingdom. The Kings word is law.
Characteristics of a King
(1) A King is never voted in power.
(2) A King is a King by birthright.
(3) A King can’t be voted out of power.
(4) A King’s authority is absolute.
(5) A King’s word is law, Ps. 19:7-9,11
(6) A King owns everything in his dominion, Ps:24:1; Ps 40:10.
(7) A King’s decree is unchanging, Ps: 40:8.
(8) A King chooses who will be a citizen, Jn.15::16-19.
(9) A King embodies the government of his Kingdom, Matt:18-19-20;28:18-20
(10) A King’s presence is the presence of his authority, Jn. 14:13-14.
(11) A King’s wealth is rewarded by his property.
(12) A King’s property is measured by his citizens status.
(13) A King’s name is the essence of his authority.
(14) A King’s citizenry is his glory.
